While many of you are psyched at the prospect of seeing H.P. Lovecrafts classic novel At the Mountains of Madness come to life on the big screen, I can almost guarantee none of you are as excited as the films director, Guillermo del Toro. We heard not too long ago that Tom Cruise and James McAvoy were being pursued to lead the literally monstrous adaptation, and since Collider broke that story, thats the first thing they asked about in a recent interview. Del Toro says its too early to begin casting as they just turned in a new draft of the script to James Cameron and producers. However, he does up offer some amazing details.Affleck nails the rhythms of coexistence between neighborhood crooks and regular Joes. His instincts are also right in casting Renner in the role of Jem, the local baddie with a short fuse, and letting the effortlessly magnetic actor steer the pace of the action, hinting at danger even when Jems just nursing a brew. With the thrum of unromanticized eff em he brings to the part, Renner supplies the jolt that keeps Affleck on his toes, both as an actor and as a director. The Town is the good work of a guy on a path of discovery, with Boston as the artists own Freedom Trail.In addition, the hotel will be displaying a hand bound book containing over 300 images of Hendrix The book Classic Hendrix by Genesis Publications is available to browse and purchase.
